The only difference is we placed the order at the table vs. Thinking back, it felt more like being in a fast-food restaurant that hands you a number to put on your table and then brings the food out to you. The price seems a little strong, but that alone would not keep me from returning. Please do not misunderstand my comment about the meal quality it's good, but there's nothing super amazing about food that was prepared ahead of time and brought out in less than 10 minutes. I could look past the price not quite aligning with the meal quality here as the choices of what and where to eat on the mountain run thin and tend to get crowded easily. The reason this review of the brewery/restaurant isn't five stars is solely on the restaurant.
WHO OWNS DEVILS BACKBONE BREWERY FULL
It's also conveniently located next to the Devils Backbone camp with full RV hookups and lots of room for tent campers, which I would rate 4 or 5 stars consistently. BD continues to invest in this facility, and it's grown into an impressive venue. Family and pet-friendly makes a great venue for indoor and outdoor fun regardless of the weather. The service is almost always very good, and you can't beat the warm and inviting ambiance. awesome, the distillery tasting was fun, and the people are friendly. This is at least my fourth or fifth visit to Devils Backbone Brewery, and the second time I've had a sit-down meal in the restaurant.įirst, I love DB Vienna Lager, as I mentioned in a previous review several years ago. Oh, and if you don’t like cats, don’t dine here! There are cats cruising around on the outdoor patio right under your feet while you’re eating! More This is not some podunk restaurant! This is an award-winning brewery owned by Anheiser Bush.

This woman didn’t have to do anything except deliver our food and have some compassion to help get my kid something to eat. WOW!!! I put myself through college waitressing, and knew the value of a good tip. I told her that seemed ridiculous, and she snapped back at me stating “well you showed up 5 minutes before we close.” I hoped the kitchen was still able to make him chicken strips and fries, but she said the entire kitchen is broken down at exactly 8pm and there was nothing they could do. When the waitress delivered our food just minutes after 8pm (side note: for some reason our drinks came out AFTER our food), I told her that in the rush of ordering our dinner myself via their app, I forgot to order my 7 year old’s dinner. Shortly after (still before 8pm), the waitress saw us seated at a table and threw her arms up like “why are you here” and turned around and walked away.

(The food ordering system is done through an app that you have to do yourself.) I quickly, under some serious stress. The hostess said we had 10 minutes to order like it was some kind of fire drill.
